To our great grandad (aka papa noo noo).

You will never ever be forgotten and here is a few reasons why: You was someone who you couldn’t help but love. Your smile said everything. You was warm, gentle and full of kindness. You had a way of lighting up any room you walked into (and definitely charmed everyone as well). I’m so proud to call you my great-grandad. You was truly one of a kind, and your love, smile and memory will stay with us always. RIP ❤️

The words don't exist to express the gratitude I have for being privileged enough to be called your great grandson Papa. Your playful sense of humour, easy and continuous laughter and cheeky sparkle in your eye was felt be all those lucky enough to have met you and it will be greatly missed.

I'll miss our long conversations about your youth, which you could paint a picture of so well that I felt like I was there with you. Particularly those of life during WW2 and how you met and fell in love with Nana during the air raids. Its a piece of family history I promise I'll pass down to my future kids so they're fully aware what an incredible life and legacy you left behind.

Although it is sad you're gone from here, I know your long awaited reunion with Nana and Barry will have been joyous. Love you forever, thank you for being my Papa xxx

Grandad, throughout your long lustrous life your brought smiles on many people's faces, I always remember coming to see you and Nana on a Sunday where you was so pleased to see me along with niamh, Toby and freya, made fresh buns and sausage rolls, amazing memories, which brings me onto Hull city loved sitting with for many years at our beloved club and you'll be missed as you probably seen on Wednesday, love you grandad sleep tight and give Nana a huge kiss I know you will 💙💙, your grandson Mike
